Tidal perturbations (temperature) owing to radiative forcing of the diurnal and the semidiurnal migrating components, and owing to tropospheric latent heat release forcing of diurnal and semidiurnal migrating and nonmigrating tides (components from w6 to e6). The map shows the linear superposition of a total of 28 tidal components with respect to their relative phasing. The GSWM tidal perturbations are sampled along the SABER footprints for 2002091. The map shows an altitude of 94 km.
Ascending - descending orbit node temperature differences (zonal mean) from GSWM sampled along the SABER footprints for 2002091.
Ascending - descending orbit node temperature differences (longitude - height cut at 0 deg latitude) from GSWM sampled along the SABER footprints for 2002091.
Tidal perturbations (meridional wind) from GSWM, sampled along the TIDI footprints. The map shows the sampling for 2002091 with tidal perturbations at 94 km altitude. Footprints of the cold and of the warm side TIDI measurements are shown.
Same as above, but for the TIDI warm side only.
