GSWM@SABER

GSWM@SABER, t, 2002091, 94 km altitude

Tidal perturbations (temperature) owing to radiative forcing of the diurnal and the semidiurnal migrating components, and owing to tropospheric latent heat release forcing of diurnal and semidiurnal migrating and nonmigrating tides (components from w6 to e6). The map shows the linear superposition of a total of 28 tidal components with respect to their relative phasing. The GSWM tidal perturbations are sampled along the SABER footprints for 2002091. The map shows an altitude of 94 km.

GSWM@SABER, t, 2002091, ascending - descending orbit node differences, zonal mean

Ascending - descending orbit node temperature differences (zonal mean) from GSWM sampled along the SABER footprints for 2002091.

GSWM@SABER, t, 0deg latitude, longitude-height cut, ascending - descending orbit node differences, 2002091

Ascending - descending orbit node temperature differences (longitude - height cut at 0 deg latitude) from GSWM sampled along the SABER footprints for 2002091.

GSWM@TIDI

GSWM tides at TIDI locations for 2002091, v, 94 km

Tidal perturbations (meridional wind) from GSWM, sampled along the TIDI footprints. The map  shows the sampling for 2002091 with tidal perturbations at 94 km altitude. Footprints of the cold and of the warm side TIDI measurements are shown.

GSWM@TIDI, warm side

Same as above, but for the TIDI warm side only.

GSWM@TIDI, cold side, v

Same as above, but for the TIDI cold side only.

GSWM@TIDI, v, ascending - descending orbit nodes, 2002091, warm side

Ascending - descending orbit node meridional wind difference (warm side only, zonal mean) from GSWM tides sampled along the TIDI footprints for 2002091.

GSWM@TIDI, ascending - descending orbit nodes, v, cold side, 2002091

Same as above, but for the TIDI cold side footprints.
